Suggestions For SST Theme

Please post your suggestions here asap. We need them for the survey.

Here are some ideas from the top of my head (sorry I'm not sure if it's working properly right now hehe):
1) carnival - think: a toned-down Vegas haha
2) Christmas sa Pinas - going back to the basic Paskong Pilipino -- the parol, the belen, the Christmas ham etc If you want we also serve puto bumbong and bibingka as part of the catering hehe and while they eat, Filipino carols yung background music

Boogie Wonderland! Sobrang random, no relation to Christmas. Haha. Parang party or disco theme. XD
Or puwede rin Simbang Gabi? Naisip ko lang galing sa suggestion ni Trixie.
Naisip ko rin yung carnival pero yung mga tipong perya. Haha.
Tsaka dahil sabi ni Trixie Vegas.... Casino! Sugalan! Um lotto!

i think Trixie's Christmas sa Pinas is a good idea. it may be actually interesting for them.
or haha, this is kind of weird pero what i can think of is a role-playing kind of party.
they need not wear costumes, like a tag lang stating who they are. they get to choose din whom they'll impersonate. kunwari, Ate Alma chooses to play Darna. hahaha. she will have a Darna tag, then everyone will call/treat her as Darna throughout the whole event. hahaha. xDD

Wag tayo magretro. Las Vegas, wag. something that would appeal to the NTS. Alam mo naaa. Baka ma-op sila Ayaw naman natin nun.

Yay! Thanks for the ideas! I'll make a poll soon (since I'm waiting for more ideas XD) and maybe place the top 3 on the survey for the NTS? We're also thinking of putting an "other" option in the survey in case they have any ideas.

Around the world Christmas? Tapos may Hawaiian dance performance.
Tapos pagkain may Filipino (bibingka), Spanish (paella), Italian (spaghetti) at kung ano pa.

gusto ko rin ung carnival/ferya idea. haha. retro was the theme na 2 yrs ago so let's not do that and yeah baka ma-OP sila sa las vegas... feeling ko ok lang naman sa kanila halos kahit anong theme as long as that theme can create the most fun for them. medyo shy din sila mag participate minsan (i noticed parang may sariling barkadas din sila haha) so i dont know how willing they'll be to do the characters (eg darna) thing. Oo

@Pat: Hmm why not? the thing though kung around the world is that ang dami niyong kailangang references

@Erica: the perya theme was DSWS' theme in 2006 ata. "Piyestara-na" ang title And then kung hindi around the world puwede ring around the Philippines, say food from Ilocos, Bicol, Manila, Cebu, etc. etc. since our NTS naman come from different places in our country. how about that?
